Author April L Wood has created a uniue world of witches that also blends with humans they coexist together I loved the different groups of witches and how you could tell which clan they were in based on their physical characteristics The story revolves around Winter Rose Thorne who is trying to heal from the recent death of her mother finding her place at school and living with her pretty weird grandmother She is a patient and powerful teen witch who can manifest what she needs to get through challenges and seek higher guidance Winter has to break ancient curses to be with her sweetheart and live the life she desires With the help of another witch Clover Winter is able to solve mysteries and gain momentum oh the suspense Winter s Curse has an exciting mix of romance darkness and family drama I was drawn in by all of the details it truly made the story for me There are a lot of great characters and I can t wait to get my hands on the next book Five stars all day long
